Leave a gift in your will
We are very proud of our history, but must always look to the future. Our work can only continue with the help of people like you. Download our legacy leaflet and find out what an extraordinary difference a gift in your Will can make.
Some people choose to leave a fixed sum to charity and others leave a percentage after provisions are made to family and friends. If you already have a will, it's easy to add a gift with a codicil, which saves you from making a new one. Your solicitor can assist you in drawing up, reviewing or updating your will. Any gift made to a charity is free of tax, as it is deducted from your estate before Inheritance Tax is calculated.
Making a will and leaving a gift to charity is a personal and private matter, and you do not need to tell us about your plans. You're more than welcome to ask for regular updates on our work if you wish, or explore our website at any time to see the impact your gift can make.
Thank you for taking the time to consider such a wonderful and generous gesture for the future. Every gift of every size given to SeeAbility is valued and used wisely to make a difference to people we support.
Gifts in wills can help people to live their best life possible by:
- Supporting people to gain independence
- Providing innovative support and accommodation
- Helping people to see the world more clearly
- Supporting people to connect with their community through volunteers

MuchLoved online tributes
You may wish to create an online tribute page to remember your loved one, with stories, memories and pictures to share amongst family and friends.
Our online partner, MuchLoved, offers a free personalised tribute service to help you to remember and commemorate the loss of someone in a very special way. By setting up a tribute it gives the ability to easily process online donations and collect Gift Aid, with funds automatically transferred to your chosen charity, SeeAbility.
Grace's story
“I’d always wanted to get a job. I wanted to give back to my community, learn new skills, and come off the employment and support allowance. For me, getting a job was all about becoming a confident and active member of society.”
