Gordon Ilett appointed Vice-Chairman of Trustees
SeeAbility is delighted to announce that Gordon Ilett, an optometrist with practices in Bexley, Bromley and West Kent, has recently been appointed Vice-Chairman of Trustees.
Gordon joined us as a trustee in 2010 and is a National Councillor with the Association of Optometrists (AOP). He is one of the country’s leading experts on eye care and vision for people with learning disabilities.
Gordon will continue to be involved in SeeAbility’s Children in Focus and Equal Right To Sight campaigns, where we seek a better system of eye care for children and adults with learning disabilities.
My work in this field makes being a Trustee for SeeAbility a perfect fit – we are helping to shape and develop how eye care is delivered for this group of people. I have been working for many years to raise awareness of the importance of eye care for people with learning disabilities,
Gordon Ilett
