How you can support SeeAbility this Christmas

There are a number of ways you can support us this Christmas and make a difference for people we support with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss.

Our BBC Lifeline Appeal

On Sunday 21st November SeeAbility featured in the BBC’s Lifeline Appeal! We hope the film strikes a chord with like-minded people, who are equally passionate about supporting our work and encouraging people with disabilities to challenge what they expect from life, from themselves and from wider society.

The film features Kiyana, Connor and Beatrix's stories, showing how they are now living their dreams thanks to support from SeeAbility.

Click here to read more about our Appeal on the BBC website and watch on BBC iPlayer until Sunday 12th December.

The Big Give Christmas Challenge

You may recall that at this time of the year SeeAbility also takes part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge – a gift matching appeal, which doubles the impact of our supporters’ donations at no extra cost to them.

This year, we’re hoping to raise enough to enable us to provide technology, training, devices and infrastructure to bring digital skills and confidence to every aspect of the lives of people we support. We’re hoping to raise £30,000 for this amazing work and every online donation made to SeeAbility through the Big Give website from between midday on Tuesday 30th November and midday Tuesday 7th December will be doubled.

If you or your friends would like to support us, and make twice the impact with your gift, you can do so on the Big Give website.

The SeeAbility Christmas Concert

Finally, last Christmas, many of you joined us for our fabulous virtual Christmas Concert, featuring the very talented Bryan Edery, who supported us throughout lockdown with a weekly Friday afternoon Piano Bar. The good news is that this year you can enjoy his music with us again this year on December 15th, when he hosts the SeeAbility Christmas Concert along with singer Amy Boujenah. You will also have a unique opportunity to hear Kaylee Rogers perform - an exceptional girl with autism who's been featured on BBC, ITV, Fox and ABC.

Due to the new variant of Covid-19, we have taken the decision to host our concert online only - the good news is you can still join us from anywhere in the UK or overseas via our live stream for an entertaining and inspirational evening of feel-good festivities.

You can buy your tickets now on the Eventbrite website.
