We are delighted to announce that we have been named as a finalist for Charity of the Year at the AOP awards 2020!

Our shortlisting as finalists is in recognition of our work helping people with learning disabilities to access eye care services. Our pioneering approach has led the way to NHS England including a national programme of eye care in special schools in their Long Term Plan. This development will benefit up to 120,000 children in special schools.

The awards are a celebration of optometrists and aims to showcase that the profession incorporates exceptional performance and tremendous passion. The Association of Optometrists ask for a public vote so people can show their appreciation of those providing a vital healthcare service.
