I'm a Phone Buddy Volunteer.

What is your work history?

I have worked in the care sector for 8 years as a Domiciliary and Establishment Coordinator for a private care agency. I have also worked as a carer alongside this so I have been able to get the opportunity to meet so many unique individuals.

What inspires you?

My inspiration is my two children - they give me the motivation to get up every morning and to give everything my best.

What's your favourite thing to do outside work?

I love ice-skating and photography.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

Surround yourself with positive people and don't be afraid to let go of what is not good for you.

What’s one thing about you that people would be surprised to learn?

It is possible to make a real difference to someone's life through volunteering.
