How SeeAbility can help you reach your goals in 2025

New year is a time for dreaming big, setting new goals, and sorting out life admin. We’re always excited to support ambitious lives, and so here are four ways we can help you reach your goals in 2024.

Finding employment

New year, new career? Our Ready Willing and Able supported employment programme works with people with disabilities across the UK to  build meaningful careers.

Our innovative programme works closely with both the job-seeker and the employer to ensure both sides are ready, willing and able to make inclusive employment work. Our support doesn't stop with the signing of a job contract. We stay in touch with everyone we're supporting, to guide them through all the ups and downs of their careers.

So, whether your goal is to find a job, or to recruit a more diverse workforce, we can help you to achieve it.

Running a marathon

It’s the big one. The ultimate fitness challenge that so many people write into their goals for the year. So why not run for SeeAbility?

We provide personalised support to all our runners, so we’ll be with you every step of the way to reaching this milestone goal. Better still, you’ll have the ultimate motivation of knowing that with every mile you pass, you’ll be helping to transform the lives of people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss.

Don’t fancy a marathon? We’ve got loads of fundraising challenges available to take part in, so just find something that works for you!

Getting your eyes tested

How long is it since you last had an eye test? Is it one of those pieces of life admin that you’ve been putting off for years?

We recommend that people with learning disabilities should have their eyes tested every year. To help with that, our handy Find an Optometrist tool gives you all the tools you need to find an accessible optician near you. You can also use our eye care resources to better understand eye care and what happens at an eye test.

Finding a new home

Is it time for a change of scenery? Or is it time to try living independently for the first time? We provide personalised support for people with learning disabilities and autism in our homes across the south of England.

We’ve supported hundreds of people to live independently and build fulfilling lives. There’s nothing more exciting to us than your ambitions! With 225 years' experience of ambitious support, we can help you find that home that really feels like home.
